Job Description:
Facilitate RED CROSS FIRST AID courses throughout Calgary. All equipment is supplied-
- Provide high quality education to students in the classroom environment
- Facilitate video presentations, lectures, skill demonstration and testing according to Red Cross guidelines.
- Evaluate student progress and achievement
- Provide ongoing support, guidance and direction to learners
- Complete required paperwork thoroughly and as required.
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Adhere to Child Safe Canada's health and Safety program
Qualifications:
- RED CROSS first aid Instructor certification (current and updated). Must be an INSTRUCTOR
- Previous teaching experience an asset
- Comfortable with public speaking, and able to convey course subjects to diverse students and learning styles
- Possess a positive, respectful attitude.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a Police Check including vulnerable sector check

Pay: $35.00 per hour
