Concrete Forming Labourer
Location: Barrie, ON (Serving Simcoe County & Muskoka)

Key Responsibilities:
- Formwork Assistance: Help handle, move, and position formwork for foundation walls, footings, and columns as directed.
- Component Installation: Help place and tie necessary reinforcement rebar, brick veneers, windows, beam pockets, and other required components as instructed.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate hand and power tools including skill saws, quick-cut saws, drills etc.
- Pour Support: Work closely under the direction of the Lead Hand and Foreman during concrete pours, assisting with vibrating, leveling, and general site support.
- Site Upkeep: Take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free jobsite throughout the workday.
- Safety Adherence: Execute all daily tasks safely, following safety regulations and our internal company health and safety program.

Requirements:
- Work Authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Strong Communication & Coachability: Ability to take direction well, listen carefully to instructions, and execute tasks efficiently.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labour is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic. (No blueprint or drawing reading required).
- Physical Fitness: Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliable Transportation: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to travel to jobsites across Simcoe County and Muskoka are required.
- Professional Mindset: A strong commitment to safety, punctuality, a positive team attitude and eager to learn.
- Required PPE and Tools:
- Safety boots & rubber boots (steel toe CSA-approved)
- Hard hat
- Tool pouch equipped with a hammer and tape measure
