Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Live-In Janitor to join our team at a prestigious multi-residential building in the laval area, The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in janitorial or building maintenance roles, with strong plumbing skills, computer proficiency, excellent people skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the building is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Conduct routine inspections of the building's common areas, facilities, and equipment.
- Handle plumbing repairs and maintenance efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing efficient and effective solutions.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management.
- Communicate regularly with the office to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns.
- Interact professionally and courteously with residents, addressing their concerns and requests in a timely manner.
- Assist with move-in and move-out procedures, ensuring units are clean and ready for new residents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in janitorial or building maintenance roles.
- Strong plumbing skills and experience with plumbing repairs.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to use property management software.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and French.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
