Job Title: Logistics Specialist
Reports to: Logistics Team Lead
Duties:
1. Proper management of Sales and Purchase contracts execution and update status of every shipment handled.
2. Plan ahead with the processing plants and provide loading instructions to ensure movement and storage of goods.
3. Ability to coordinate with shipping lines, freight companies, transloaders, rail and processing facilities to ensure goods are shipped in timely and efficient manner.
4. Tracks, measures and reports regularly on imports and exports of our commodities while in transit.
5. Generate weekly reports and monthly projection summaries.
6. Ability to manage risk and opportunities during the logistics process to ensure maximum results.
7. Participation in logistics projects by managing new initiatives as they arise.
8. Work in compliance with ETG’s Commodity Inc. Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Diploma in Supply chain, International Trade or or related field.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the logistic process, export experience preferred (rail, truck, container)
3. Ability to meet changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
4. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization internal and external in professional and objective manner.
5. Strong sense of initiative, self-starter and able to work well independently and as part as a team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player and able to work efficiently in a dynamic fast-paced, work environment.
7. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills while maintaining high quality customer-service orientation.
8. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail including ability to balance multiple priorities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
