PBN Construction is hiring for our Paving Team. We are looking to add Finish Grade Skidsteer Operators with experience with Asphalt Paving, Milling , Sweeping and Finish Grade.
Working Monday - Friday - with some weekends. Great Summer Position!
- Operate skid steer equipment safely and efficiently to perform finish grading for asphalt paving projects.
- Fine grade granular base materials to required elevations, slopes, and tolerances.
- Read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, laser levels, GPS systems, and project specifications.
- Shape, spread, and level aggregates to ensure proper drainage and paving readiness.
- Work closely with surveyors, foremen, paver crews, and other operators to achieve project requirements.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and general labour duties as required.
- Ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Certifications: Formal training in Asphalt Paving, G and/or A endorsement, and valid class 5 license or higher considered an asset.
