Maintenance and Cleaning Worker – Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance and Cleaning Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, performing basic repairs, and ensuring the property is safe and well maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and garbage removal
- Clean washrooms, common areas, offices, and workspaces
- Perform basic maintenance and repair work
- Inspect property for safety and maintenance issues
- Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal maintenance
- Operate basic tools and cleaning equipment safely
- Move materials, furniture, and equipment when required
- Report damages, repairs, or safety concerns to management
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies
Requirements
- Previous maintenance or cleaning experience is an asset
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and good work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
