Purpose/Summary of Position:
This role is responsible for following established processes and procedures for their role and achieving targeted goals and objectives. This role is responsible for ongoing collaboration with fellow team members and improving efficiencies whenever possible.
The Warranty Administrator reviews and completes warranty claims; uses technical information sources as needed to complete claims; reviews, corrects, and resubmits claims that have been rejected; maintains complete and accurate records for warranty claims; uses DMS to submit warranty claims and to manage information; coordinates and works effectively with other employees to resolve problems with warranty repair orders.

Key Accountabilities & Objectives:
· Submit and process all warranty claims with consistent timeliness and accuracy
· Demonstrate consistent commitment and focus on achieving all deadlines for claims submissions and related paperwork
· Authorize claim eligibility
· Perform follow-up calls with customers
· Achieves high percentage of claims paid first time submitted
· Research, connect, and resubmit rejected claims within 5 days
· Reconcile vendor accounts
· Maintain accurate filing system of open claims holding for credit and authorization
- Maintain positive, professional working relationships with OEM representatives
- Follow up with factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims
- Identify and support opportunities for methods/process improvement
- Analyze problems, identify trends, and develop strategies to maximize claim process
- Complete reports as established by dealership
- Ensure all codes, operations, parts, and sublet charges of claims are accurate
- Provide technical information and assistance to employees as needed
- Verify history of vehicles prior to claim submission to audit mileage, in-service date, and past repair history
- Maintain knowledge base on claim procedures, coverage, bulletins, campaigns, etc.
- Assists fellow team members when required
- Communicate escalated concerns/issues to appropriate manager when required
- Provide feedback to management and maintain open communication on concerns, suggestions, requirements etc.
Special Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license
· Minimum High School Diploma
· Post Secondary Education Preferred
· Previous automotive dealership experience an asset
· Previous administrative experience required
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
