Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and styling for diverse client needs
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles or treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations
- Engage with clients at the front desk to schedule appointments, manage walk-ins, and process payments
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client experience and salon revenue
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere that encourages repeat business
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
Experience
- Prior experience as a barber or stylist is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to handle retail sales confidently and promote salon products effectively
- Experience working at the front desk or managing appointment scheduling is a plus
