Event Sales & Catering Manager, To Kitchens Hospitality Group – Toronto, ON
To Kitchens is a fast-growing hospitality and food production company operating multiple restaurant brands in Toronto. We are expanding beyond delivery operations into catering, corporate events, private events, weddings, and hospitality services.
We are currently building the foundation of our Catering & Events division and are looking for an experienced, highly connected, and entrepreneurial Event Sales & Catering Manager to help lead and grow this new venture from the ground up.
This is a startup-style leadership opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the company long-term and play a major role in shaping the future of the brand.
This is NOT an entry-level event coordinator position.
We are looking for someone with strong industry relationships, sales experience, and existing connections within the Toronto hospitality and events industry who can actively bring in new business opportunities and help scale our event operations.
Responsibilities
- Generate and secure new catering and event clients
- Build relationships with corporate offices, event venues, wedding planners, production companies, and private clients
- Coordinate catering opportunities for:
- Corporate events
- Office catering
- Weddings
- Private parties
- Networking events
- Film/production catering
- Social events
- Develop partnerships with:
- Rental companies
- DJs
- Bartenders
- Servers
- Decor companies
- Venues
- Entertainment vendors
- Manage event inquiries, consultations, quotations, and bookings
- Coordinate event logistics and vendor communication
- Work closely with kitchen operations to ensure successful execution
- Attend and supervise events when required
- Help build and grow the To Kitchens Catering & Events brand
- Contribute ideas for menu development, event packaging, hospitality growth, and operational systems
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in:
- Event sales
- Catering sales
- Hospitality management
- Wedding/event coordination
- Corporate event planning
- Existing network and connections within the Toronto/GTA hospitality and event industry
- Strong understanding of:
- Catering operations
- Event logistics
- Vendor coordination
- Corporate hospitality
- Wedding and private event execution
- Proven ability to generate leads and close event bookings
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to help build a division from the startup stage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup-style hospitality environment
- Experience working with venues, banquet halls, hotels, catering companies, or hospitality groups is highly preferred
- Must have reliable transportation and flexibility for event schedules
