Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bagger / Forklift Operator to work for our client in Innisfil, ON. This role is primarily focused on general labour duties (approximately 75%), including bagging, handling, and preparing materials, with additional responsibilities operating a forklift (approximately 25%) to move and organize products safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
General Labour / Bagger Duties (75%):
- Operate bagging equipment to fill, seal, and label bags accurately
- Stack, palletize, and wrap finished products for shipment
- Perform manual material handling, including lifting and moving items
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect products for quality and report any issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Forklift Operator Duties (25%):
- Operate a forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Move pallets to designated storage areas
- Conduct pre-operation equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Ensure proper storage and inventory handling practices
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a general labour or warehouse environment preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
- Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
- Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures depending on the facility
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
Shift Schedule:- Monday-Friday
Pay: $20.00 per hour
