We’re growing and are looking for ambitious 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year HVAC Service Apprentices who are passionate about the trade and want to continue developing into top-tier service technicians.
At Air Tech, you’ll work alongside experienced Journeypersons, receive ongoing technical training, and gain hands-on experience servicing a wide range of residential heating and cooling equipment. We believe in developing our people, promoting from within, and providing the support needed to help you become one of the best technicians in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Perform preventative maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, fireplaces, and ventilation equipment.
- Develop advanced troubleshooting skills in electrical, controls, airflow, combustion, refrigeration, and system performance.
- Build confidence in communicating with homeowners and explaining repair options professionally.
- Complete accurate job documentation using ServiceTitan.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer and in-house technical training.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year HVAC/Refrigeration Apprentice.
- Residential service experience is considered a strong asset.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently while continuing to grow under mentorship.
