Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and detail oriented Feed Truck Driver to join our feeding crews. This position plays a critical role in the daily care of our cattle by ensuring feed is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operating equipment, working outdoors, comfortable working at heights and enjoys work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules on the feed and micro mills
- Complete pre-trip inspections of trucks and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the feed trucks, equipment and work area
- Safety operate feed truck and front-end loader
- Deliver feed rations accurately according to feeding schedules
- Service and care of feed equipment
- Prepare the daily feeding to ensure feeding efficiency
- Weigh and sample all trucks
- Follow all company safety policies, standard operating procedures, and biosecurity practices
- Assist with farm or feedlot duties, as required
Qualifications:
- Class 5 drivers license, class 3 an asset
- Experience operating heavy equipment or agricultural equipment is considered an asset
- Ability to learn and use feed and cattle management software on a phone/tablet and computer
- Comfortable working at heights and in dusty conditions
- Basic adding, subtraction, multiplication and division skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs/25 kg.
- Ability to follow safety and quality protocols
- Dependable, punctual and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Time management and planning
- Ability to solve day-to-day problems with attention to detail.
- Interpersonal & communication skills in person, email, and text messaging
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to do a range of tasks from driving trucks and equipment to preventative maintenance on mills.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
