Duties
- Diagnose electrical issues in automobiles using specialized testing equipment
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, sensors, switches, and electronic components
- Install new electrical systems or upgrades as required by customer specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise repairs and installations
- Perform heavy lifting when handling large or heavy automotive parts and components
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all electrical systems meet safety standards
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and work performed
- Collaborate with mechanics and other technicians to ensure comprehensive vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair with a focus on electrical systems
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle components and systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Mechanic experience preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
