SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Supervisor, Buildings manages and provides leadership to facilitate the development, implementation and management of corporate buildings throughout the province for SaskEnergy and TransGas. This includes ensuring planning, project delivery and building operations are completed safely, within approved budgets, on schedule and in accordance with municipal, provincial and federal codes, standards, specifications, regulations and accepted industry practices.
Asset and life cycle planning, providing input to support informed decisions related to priorities, investments, acquisitions, divestitures and budgets.
Manage a wide scope of building projects from concept to completion to ensure work proceeds as planned and is carried out in a safe, productive and efficient manner, meeting municipal, provincial and federal codes, standards, specifications, regulations and industry practices.
Facilitate needs assessment with senior management and end users to develop a scope of work to determine budgets, contract documents, specifications, resourcing and schedule within approved capital budget.
Manage building operations and property maintenance to ensure work proceeds as planned and is carried out in a safe, productive and efficient manner, meeting municipal, provincial and federal codes, standards, specifications, regulations and industry practices.
Develop and plan interior and exterior spaces maintain building design standards and facility documents, meeting corporate requirements and standards, in accordance with municipal, provincial and federal codes and to ensure designs meet business requirements and practices, while maintaining a safe, productive environment for the business.
Manage office moves, resource staff and the furniture inventory to ensure product and design meet applicable codes and industry standards at locations throughout the province.
Oversee property leases to ensure landlords and tenants meet their obligations of the lease term as a facility solution for the company’s accommodations requirements.
Manage assigned resources and provide leadership to staff to ensure efficient buildings and effective services are provided for the Corporation.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with external consultants, suppliers and contractors, providing oversight and to ensure alignment with expenditures, corporate strategies, policies and practices.
Travel is required throughout the province, including site visits to evaluate conditions at service centers, district offices and compressor stations.
