When on duty, general responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Work with minimal supervision
- Reviews Maintenance Requests from tenants and perform tasks, if possible.
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Sweep parking lot/ramp
- Change lightbulbs
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures and laundry room
- Sweep, mop, scrub floors and hallways in all common areas
- Clean stairwells and ensure they are clean and free of debris at all times
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scrapes, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers into large bin.
- Weekly garbage bin (Sunday Evening) Roll steel garbage bin outside for garbage pick up and roll back in using garbage genie.
- Contact/coordinate tradespersons for repairs that cannot be done in house
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, when needed
- Assist Property Manager, when requested
Hours:
- Hours will be determined jointly with Property Manager
- Relief/Assistant Property Manager can expect to work 2-3 days per week (mostly weekends)
- Assistant Manager must also be available on an as required basis and will be compensated separately for these hours at minimum wage
- Note that your "living/accommodations" forms part of your compensation.

- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance as needed
- When needed, show apartments to prospective tenants
- Perform the monthly fire alarm test with Property Manager and document
- Perform monthly safety and security checks and document

Accommodations and other items:
- 1 Bachelor apartment forms part of compensation. Accommodations are valued at "Market " value.
- Hours outside regular schedule are compensated at minimum wage
- Mobile phone for work purposes only
- Uniform provided
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
