Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Restaurant Deep Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough deep cleaning of commercial kitchens and restaurant dining areas to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety. Previous commercial cleaning or restaurant cleaning experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Deep clean commercial kitchens, dining areas, and washrooms
- Clean behind, underneath, and around kitchen equipment
- Degrease grills, fryers, ovens, hoods, walls, and floors
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize all surfaces
- Clean coolers, storage areas, and food preparation stations
- Empty garbage and recycling bins
- Restock cleaning supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work evenings, nights, or weekends as required
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are an asset
- Commercial or restaurant cleaning experience is an asset but not required
