Norcope is seeking a full-time year-round Project Manager to join our team. Based out of Whitehorse this Position would work directly with site superintendents to aid in the successful delivery of projects throughout Yukon and Northern B.C.
Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from initial tendering to completion
- Build and revise project schedules
- Implement and support project quality control programs
- Identify and price extra work and change orders
- Manage Subcontractors, outline expectations, scheduling information and track productions
- Directly liaise with customers, consultants and owners
- Monitor the local construction market and identify suitable projects Norcope would be interested in bidding
- Drafting of proposals
- Routine Progress Claim Submissions
- RFI, Shop drawing, project plan drafting, submission and revisions.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years previous project management experience
- 2-5 years’ related hands-on field or trade experience an asset
- Bachelors of engineering, CET designation or other construction management related designation preferred.
- Strong communication and great organization skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the civil construction industry
- Ability to interpret a variety of drawings and contract specifications
