About the Role
The Home and Agro Manager is responsible for leading operations at the Outlook Home and Agro Centre and Wiseton Home and Agro Centre while providing oversight of logistics coordination across Riverbend Co-op. This role is accountable for delivering business results through safe operations, strong customer and contractor relationships, operational excellence, and disciplined financial management.
The Home and Agro Manager leads team performance through recruitment, coaching, development, and accountability while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and legislative requirements. The role is responsible for achieving sales, margin, inventory, and expense targets while maintaining a high standard of execution and customer experience across locations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Providing leadership and oversight for safe, compliant, and well-maintained operations across both Home & Agro locations
- Protecting team members, customers, facilities, inventory, and company assets while ensuring adherence to safety, transportation, environmental, and operational standards
- Leading growth across Home & Agro operations by balancing customer experience, contractor relationships, merchandising execution, and local market opportunities across both consumer and business channels
- Overseeing store operations including merchandising, inventory management, receiving, warehousing, presentation standards, and asset utilization while ensuring strong operational discipline
- Leading, coaching, and developing an engaged, accountable, and customer-focused team through recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and ongoing development
- Managing sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and operating plans to support strong financial results and responsible use of resources
Coordinating priorities, logistics, and resources to support efficient execution across locations and changing business needs

What You Will Need
- Grade 12 education
- 6-9 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience growing B2B sales and working with growers, producers, and retail consumers
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of operations, customer service, merchandising, inventory, and financial accountability
- Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and maintain a high standard of execution across multiple locations
Forklift training would be considered an asset
