Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tire Shop Foreman to lead our service team and ensure efficient operation of our automotive tire department. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, dealership experience, and excellent customer service skills. This leadership role requires hands-on involvement in automotive repair, maintenance, and sales, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the tire shop, ensuring timely and quality service delivery
- Lead and assist technicians with tire installation, repair, and maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance as needed, including heavy lifting of tires and equipment
- Manage inventory of tires, parts, and tools to maintain optimal stock levels
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining services, and recommending solutions
- Oversee safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
- Train and mentor team members to improve technical skills and productivity
- Assist in sales efforts by promoting services and products to customers
Qualifications
- Dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and tire equipment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes is a plus

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
