Job Summary:
Operate and maintain blow moulding/extrusion machines to produce plastic products as per quality and production standards. Ensure efficient machine performance, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot blow moulding/extrusion machines
Adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed) for optimal output
Perform mould changes and minor maintenance
Monitor product quality and perform visual/mechanical checks
Record production data and report issues to supervisors
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Maintain clean and organized work area
Requirements:
4+ years experience in blow moulding or extrusion (plastic manufacturing preferred)
Knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and troubleshooting
Ability to read basic technical drawings/specs
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
