Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals to assess health status
- Diagnose illnesses and injuries through clinical assessments, laboratory tests, and imaging procedures
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual animals’ needs
- Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other soft tissue surgeries
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and health management strategies
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Assist in laboratory testing procedures when necessary to aid in diagnosis
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of employment
- Laboratory experience is preferred, with the ability to perform diagnostic tests efficiently
- Strong communication skills for effective client interactions and team collaboration

Pay: $110,000.00-$170,000.00 per year
