Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant team lead to supervise a team within our laundry facility. 2 weeks paid vacation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production teams, ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Lead process improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics using SAP, MRP, and other ERP systems to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance company policies.
- Oversee quality control procedures, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure mechanical reliability of equipment and facilitate troubleshooting as needed.
- Support assembly operations by providing guidance on best practices and process efficiencies.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on ERP systems, process improvements, and safety procedures.
- Prepare reports on production metrics, process performance, and areas for operational enhancement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or a similar leadership role within an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, MRP, and supply chain management.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement initiatives, and Quality Control standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting performance data.
