Job Summary
Putting Edge is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Artist to assist with the painting and design of murals, props, and themed visual elements for our glow-in-the-dark entertainment environment. This is a temporary contract position focused on enhancing the guest experience through immersive and high-quality artwork.
Responsibilities
- Paint murals, props, scenic elements, and decorative features
- Assist with creating and executing artistic concepts and themed visual designs
- Work with glow-in-the-dark, UV-reactive paints and materials
- Touch up and maintain existing artwork and scenic elements as required
- Prepare surfaces and materials for painting and installation
- Collaborate with management and other artists to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow project guidelines, timelines, and quality expectations
Skills
- Experience in mural painting, scenic painting, prop painting, or related artistic work
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working on ladders and with various art materials and tools
- Ability to adapt artistic style to fit themed entertainment environments
- Reliable, professional, and able to meet deadlines
Working Conditions:
- Work will take place indoors in a shop and/or within an entertainment facility
- Some physical work may be required, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials with assistance, and climbing ladders
- Flexible scheduling may occasionally be required based on project needs and timelines
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
