Your Role:

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.

Assist the dentist during oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implant placements, root cancls and other surgical treatments.

Pre and post operative care instructions to patients.

Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.

Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.

Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Anticipate the needs of the dentist during procedures and provide efficient chairside support.

Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.

Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
About You:
-
Registeredas a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.

NDAEB Certification.
-
3-5 years of experience working in a surgical setting assisting with extractions, implants and other procedures.
-
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
