Position Overview
As a Retail Sales Associate & Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in driving store sales, achieving KPI targets, and creating an outstanding customer experience. You will be responsible for educating customers, recommending products, maintaining merchandising standards, processing transactions, and supporting day-to-day store operations.
Successful candidates are confident in suggestive selling, customer retention strategies, upselling initiatives, and working within a performance-driven retail culture.
This position also includes preparing and completing cannabis deliveries in accordance with company SOPs and AGCO regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest. Greet each store guest within 5 seconds of entering the store
- Build strong customer relationships through product education and personalized recommendations
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and KPI targets
- Drive sales through suggestive selling, basket-building, promotions, and featured product campaigns
- Promote store initiatives, loyalty opportunities, and push-list products to maximize revenue
- Maintain strong product knowledge of cannabis strains, accessories, and new product launches
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and efficiently
- Support social media and in-store promotional initiatives when required
Store Operations
- Operate POS and payment systems accurately
- Open and close the store following company procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory counts, receiving, and restocking processes
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing
- Update displays, pricing, and merchandising during every shift
- Complete administrative duties and end-of-day reports accurately
- Answer phone calls and process online and phone orders
Delivery Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver cannabis orders following company delivery SOPs
- Maintain professionalism and compliance during all deliveries
- Verify customer identification and legal purchasing requirements
Compliance & Security
- Ensure compliance with AGCO regulations and company policies
- Verify government-issued identification for all customers entering the store
- Follow all loss prevention, safety, and security procedures
- Report suspicious incidents or unusual activity to management immediately
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales and customer service experience
- Strong sales mentality with the ability to meet and exceed KPI expectations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- High energy, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven retail setting
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism
- Cannabis retail brand and product knowledge is considered an asset
- Experience with TechPos, Retail POS systems, Google documents, Google Workspace, AI tools, and Microsoft Office is an asset
Mandatory Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Valid CannSell or CTC Certification required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must own a reliable personal vehicle
- Complete deliveries as part of the role
- Must comply with all AGCO cannabis retail regulations and company policies
- Clean driving history and clear criminal record required by AGCO laws
