We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who shares our commitment to collaborative, integrative care and is passionate about helping patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and support their overall health and well-being.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will provide massage therapy services to patients within an integrative healthcare setting. This role involves working collaboratively with our Naturopathic Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare practitioners to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-informed massage therapy treatments tailored to each patient's needs
- Treat patients experiencing acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, headaches, sports injuries, postural dysfunction, stress, tension, and mobility concerns
- Educate patients on home care strategies, stretching, exercise, and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Refer patients to other healthcare providers when clinically indicated
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide integrated patient care
Qualifications
- Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience is considered an asset
- Familiarity with EMR systems (JaneApp experience is considered an asset)
- Passion for patient-centered and integrative healthcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
