About the Hotel
The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a heated pool with a 100-ft water slide.

Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is looking for someone with a knack for efficient and courteous service to join our team of amazing Bistro servers!
What will you be doing?
-
Greeting all guests and taking beverage and food orders promptly and professionally

Preparing food and beverages for service to hotel guests and presenting food according to established health and presentation standards.

Performing side-work, and any other opening or closing duties as required. Ensuring that stations are clean and maintained throughout the shift.

Receiving guest payments and processing transactions.

Making appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines.
What are the requirements for this role?

Basic reading and writing abilities
-
Strong communication/customer service skills as a significant amount of time are spent interacting with guests
-
Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or provincial government agencies.

Available to work any shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays when required
