Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Helper to support daily operations within our workshop. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, enjoy a hands-on environment, and value teamwork. The Shop Helper will assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the shop, including cleaning, organizing, vehicle detailing, per and post scans, parts organization and providing excellent customer service when needed. This position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic work setting while contributing to the overall efficiency of our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the shop area to ensure a safe and organized environment
- Shuttle vehicles
- Support team members with basic tasks such as material handling and tool organization
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and equipment
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with clients or visitors
- Assist in loading and unloading materials or products as required
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or issues promptly
- Support ongoing projects by performing miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly
- NS drivers licence
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various responsibilities
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in a shop or similar environment is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
