We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and security. Duties
- Manage and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Implement and support cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
- Configure and support operating systems including Windows, Linux, and other enterprise environments.
- Develop and enforce security protocols to protect organizational data and prevent cyber threats.
- Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps practices integrating Java, Python, SQL, and other programming tools.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure system stability and security.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and policies for ongoing maintenance and compliance purposes.
- Assist in planning network expansions or upgrades aligned with organizational growth strategies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java for automation tasks.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases for managing data flow within the network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices to streamline deployment processes.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles to safeguard sensitive information across all platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting technical procedures effectively.
