Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will coordinate the scheduling and routing of freight and shipments, ensuring efficient transportation management and seamless communication across departments. This role is vital in maintaining the flow of goods within our supply chain operations, including third-party logistics (3PL) providers. The Dispatcher will utilize various systems and tools to optimize delivery processes, support shipping and receiving activities, and uphold high standards of communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using transportation management systems such as TRINIUM
- Dispatch container trucks for import/export shipments efficiently
- Coordinate with drivers for daily schedules, routes, and assignments
- Monitor container pickups and deliveries from ports (e.g., Deltaport, Vanterm, Centerm and FSD) and rail yards
- Communicate with customers, terminals, and drivers regarding load status
- Handle documentation such as delivery orders, manifests, and appointments
- Track shipments and resolve delays or operational issues
- Maintain accurate records of trips, billing, and driver logs
Skills .
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, freight management, and 3PL operations.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and documentation requirements.

Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
