- Completes assessments and repairs on commercial dishmachines and floor cleaning machines.
- Disassemble, inspect and clean used dishmachines.
- Completes warranty work
- Completes training - digital and in-person - in line with skill and business requirements
- Maintains 4 week service maintenance schedule with customers.
- Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor
To be Successful, the following is required:
- Ability to repair and maintain commercial dishmachines and floor machines following guidelines, using required tools to ensure a quality repair; inspects and replaces parts and components following guidelines.
- Mechanical Knowledge - Demonstrates knowledge of industry standards by complying with all safe work procedures including Personal Protective Equipment to create a safe work environment; applies mechanical principles and theories using appropriate tools and procedures to diagnose and repair products safely and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical fundamentals
- Health and Safety Fundamentals - models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience
Class 5 Driver's License required.
Minimal level of work shop experience required
Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with hand tools,
Partial or completion of post secondary courses related to mechanical, electrical systems.
