About the Position
In Bloom Landscaping Inc. is hiring dependable and hardworking Property Maintenance & Snow Removal Technicians to join our growing team in Toronto.
This is a year-round position consisting of commercial landscape maintenance during the spring, summer, and fall, and snow and ice management during the winter. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, communicate effectively, and are committed to delivering quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Landscape Maintenance
- Lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
- Garden bed maintenance and weeding
- Hedge and shrub trimming
- Spring and fall property cleanups
- Mulch installation
- Property inspections and reporting
- Safe operation of commercial landscaping equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
- Maintaining a professional appearance on client sites
Snow & Ice Management
- Snow shoveling and snow blowing
- Salt and ice melt application
- Sidewalk and entrance clearing
- Assisting with snow plow operations
- Completing assigned snow routes efficiently and safely
- Working overnight, weekends, and holidays during snow events
- Maintaining communication with supervisors throughout snow operations
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario G Driver's License preferred
- Landscaping and/or snow removal experience considered an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Schedule
- Monday to Friday during landscape season
- On-call availability required during snow season
- Overnight and weekend work required during snow events
