We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and answering any questions regarding food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to restaurant standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, performing basic math calculations for payments.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is essential.
- Experience with POS systems and cashiering is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills are necessary for processing payments accurately.
