Duties

- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Assist with food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Handle food handling tasks with proper hygiene practices, adhering to health regulations.
- Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus.
- Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
