Interim - Special Assignment Field Manager
The Security Field Manager (FM) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of security personnel across multiple client sites. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality security services, compliance with company policies and client requirements, employee performance management, and operational excellence. The Security Field Manager serves as the primary liaison between security officers, clients, and company leadership, promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
The schedule is 40 hour per week with flexibility on weekdays and availability to work on weekends at all times. The FM will serve as an after-hours support role.
Operations Management

Oversee security operations across assigned sites to ensure contractual obligations and service standards are met.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess security effectiveness, compliance, and officer performance.

Respond to operational issues, emergencies, and client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Employee Leadership & Development

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train security personnel.

Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing performance management to field staff.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with provincial/state regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and security breaches and prepare detailed reports.
Scheduling & Workforce Planning

Manage overtime, attendance, and workforce allocation.

Assist with forecasting staffing requirements and recruitment needs.
Qualifications
Education
-
Diploma or degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience
-
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in the security industry.

At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing multiple sites or teams.

Experience with client relationship management and contract security operations preferred.
Certifications

Valid Security Worker License (as required by jurisdiction).

Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

First Aid/CPR Certification preferred.

Additional security-related certifications are considered an asset.
