Oxford Learning Oakville North is growing, and we're looking for enthusiastic High School Science & Math Teacher-Tutors to join our award-winning team. This role is perfect for someone who lights up when talking about science or mathematics, enjoys working with students, and finds satisfaction in helping them build confidence while mastering challenging concepts.
Whether your passion is physics, chemistry, biology, advanced math, or a combination of these subjects, we're looking for educators who enjoy helping students understand the "why" behind the concepts and empowering them to succeed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for future educators, university students in science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, recent graduates, or anyone considering a career in teaching to gain meaningful experience working directly with students. Many of our instructors find this role incredibly rewarding as they watch students grow not only academically, but also in confidence and motivation.
At Oxford Learning, you won't just be tutoring. You'll be mentoring students, inspiring confidence, and helping them discover that science and math can actually make sense (and even be fun!).
The best part? No lesson planning required. All lessons are fully prepared through our proprietary Oxford Learning methodology, so you can focus on what matters most: teaching, connecting with students, and making an impact.
If you're looking for valuable teaching experience, a supportive and positive team environment, and the opportunity to genuinely change students' academic journeys, we would LOVE to meet you!
All Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after-school and evening hours (3:00 pm - 8:00 pm) as well as some Saturdays (9:00 am - 1:00 pm).
A commitment until the end of the school year in June 2027 is preferred. Continuing through the summer and into the following school year is even better! Your students will love working with you, and reliability is a must.
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to our Oakville location. This is not an online position, and relocation packages are not available.
A Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.
