About the Role
Kaizen Automotive Group is looking for a highly organized and people-focused HR Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to join our growing corporate team.
This is a varied, hands-on blended role combining Human Resources and recruitment coordination with executive administrative and business support. You will gain practical exposure across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, executive support, and day-to-day corporate operations.
This is a great opportunity for a recent Human Resources graduate looking to start their career in their chosen field, or an experienced Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant looking to transition into or further specialize in Human Resources and recruitment.
As Kaizen continues to grow, there will be opportunities to develop your skills and potentially specialize further in areas such as Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Employee Engagement, Executive Support, or Corporate Administration.
What You Will Be Doing
- Coordinating recruitment activities including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and maintaining accurate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Supporting onboarding and pre-employment activities to help create a smooth and positive experience for new employees
- Assisting with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, surveys, internal communications, and company events
- Maintaining accurate employee records, HR documentation, trackers, and other confidential people-related information
- Coordinating career fairs, recruitment events, employer branding activities, and other talent attraction initiatives
- Providing administrative support to executive leadership and department leaders, including meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up activities
- Managing travel and accommodation bookings, expense reports, courier services, office supplies, and other day-to-day administrative needs
- Assisting with licensing applications, renewals, dealer agreements, vendor coordination, and compliance-related documentation
- Coordinating company meetings, employee events, appreciation activities, and special projects
- Supporting evolving HR, recruitment, administrative, and business priorities as Kaizen continues to grow
You Will Bring
- A diploma, certificate, or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and details in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting with candidates, employees, leaders, and external partners
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; experience with an ATS, HRIS, payroll, or other business systems is considered an asset
- A proactive, resourceful, and adaptable approach, with sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally
