Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cathodic Protection Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cathodic protection systems primarily within the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain cathodic protection systems on pipelines, storage tanks, and other structures
- Perform rigging operations to safely lift and position equipment during installations or repairs
- Operates skid steer
- Utilize mechanical skills to troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate cathodic protection measures
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Document work performed accurately and report any system deficiencies or safety concerns
Experience
- Prior experience in oil & gas industry preferred, especially with cathodic protection systems or related infrastructure
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging techniques
- Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with oil & gas pipeline systems or storage tanks is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to industrial sites and hazardous environments
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is beneficial
- Experience ATV/ARGO/Snowmobile
- Experience with driving off road in all weather conditions

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
