Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Renovation Apprentice to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of renovation and construction projects, providing opportunities to develop essential skills in the industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and interested in building a career in construction. As a Renovation Apprentice, you will assist experienced tradespeople in completing residential and commercial renovation projects, gaining exposure to a wide range of techniques and tools used in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements.
- Support skilled workers with tasks involving hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Participate in concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work as needed.
- Aid in carpentry tasks such as cabinet installation, framing, and general woodwork.
- Help with construction painting, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry projects.
- Contribute to plumbing and electrical work under supervision to expand technical knowledge.
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure quality finishes.
- Assist with construction estimating and project measurements when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of construction processes or related experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematics is advantageous.
- Experience or interest in blueprint reading, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, or restoration is a plus.
- Ability to operate basic heavy equipment safely is beneficial.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills and eagerness to develop new skills within the construction industry.

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
