Operating 24 hours a day, 5-7 days a week,
Pay Rate:
NIGHTS (23:00 - 7:00) $20.20 /hr plus $0.50 /hr when driving.
DAYS (7:00 - 15:00) $19.40 /hr plus $0.50 /hr when driving.
AFTERNOONS (15:00 - 23:00) $19.90 /hr plus $0.50 /hr when driving.
Please state what shifts you would like to be considered for. Note: there is no rotating shifts.
Responsibilities include:
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, lift for extended periods of time.
· Basic literacy skills – read, write and speak English.
· Operate a counterbalance lift truck in a safe manner.
· Load and Off load material from a tractor trailer.
· Setting up smooth flow of material to be inspected/certified.
· Maintain FIFO procedures.
· Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
· Perform accurate manual and visual inspection of materials.
· Follow ISO 9001: 2015 procedures accordingly.
· Maintain quality controls and procedures.
· Is responsible for the safety and security in their designated areas.
· Participate in Production, Quality, Logistics, and Health and Safety work.
· May be given other duties as management dictates.
Qualifications required:
· Highly motivated and assertive with strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be able to interface members of a team.
· Must be able to handle multi-tasks in a high paced environment.
· Must have exceptional time management / organizational skills.
· Must have excellent attendance.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Must be able to maintain a clean and safe working area for team members.
· Must successfully pass a variety of evaluations.
· Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience operating a lift truck.
Must be willing to:
· Work a steady shift : nights (23:00 to 7:00), Days ( 7:00 to 15:00), Afternoons (15:00 to 23:00)
· work the occasional weekend.
