We’re looking for an experienced and personable Bartender/Server to join the team at District Brewing Company.
The ideal candidate thrives in a hospitality environment, genuinely enjoys connecting with people, and can confidently balance bartending, serving, and guest experience. We’re looking for someone who brings restaurant experience, attention to detail, and a positive, team-first attitude to every shift.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare beer, cocktails, and mixed drinks with consistency and efficiency
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service area
- Check identification and ensure responsible alcohol service standards are followed
- Handle cash, POS transactions, and tabs accurately
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to maintain smooth service
- Ensure all alcohol, supplies, and service areas are stored and maintained properly
- Help create a warm, energetic, and memorable guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous bartending and/or serving experience in a bar or restaurant setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed during busy periods
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and general beverage service
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid Food Safety certification (willingness to obtain upon employment)
- Valid Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification (or willingness to obtain)
