Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Light Duty Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will perform routine cleaning tasks across various commercial facilities, ensuring that all areas are kept hygienic and well-organized. Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common areas according to established standards
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards discovered during cleaning activities
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as directed by supervisors
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
