GigHound is currently hiring on behalf of our client, a fast-paced transportation and logistics hub, to find a detail-oriented Processing Clerk to join their team in Woodbridge. This role focuses on the digital and physical "processing" of freight—ensuring data is entered correctly and parcels are tracked accurately for transit. Ideal for individuals who enjoy a high-energy mix of data entry and physical warehouse work.
Your day will be split between digital documentation and physical freight handling. Stationed in the warehouse, you will receive inbound shipments, verify tracking numbers, and perform high-volume data entry using Google Workspace to log inventory. You will be on your feet most of the day, manually moving and lifting shipments up to 75lbs, applying transit labels, and scanning items to ensure full visibility in our tracking system. It’s a detail-oriented, active role where your speed and accuracy directly impact delivery success.
Shift available:
Monday - Friday, 12:30pm - 8:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume data entry, documentation, and scanning of inbound/outbound shipments.
- Ensure all shipment data and tracking updates are accurately reflected in Google Drive, Docs, and internal systems.
- Integrate and generate tracking labels using internal logistics software.
- Manually handle, lift, and move shipments up to 75lbs as part of the processing cycle.
Requirements:
- Technical: Highly comfortable using Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and scanning equipment.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/handle up to 75lbs.
- Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and excellent organizational skills.
- Be willing to be subject to a background check; clearance is required
- CSA approved Steel Toe Safety Shoes and safety vest
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
