Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. You will work closely with the Shipping & Receiving and Supply Chain teams to ensure materials and products are available when needed to support production and customer deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer and production orders.
- Load outbound shipments.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete inventory transactions.
- Replenish warehouse stock and production materials.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Support production, shipping, and other warehouse activities as required.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar warehouse role.
- Experience operating forklifts and reach trucks is required.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Process improvement mindset with a willingness to identify efficiencies.
- Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse or ERP software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
