Job Overview:
Abel Corporation (Edmonton) is seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed cabinet drafting and accurate estimates for our projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative design skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed cabinet drawings and plans using Revit.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure designs meet client specifications and standards.
- Review and analyze project specifications, code requirements, and architectural drawings.
- Maintain and update project documentation and records.
- Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Provide product support and guidance to clients, addressing any questions or issues they may have about our products.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for cabinetry and millwork projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and obtain quotes.
- Troubleshoot design and technical issues as they arise, providing effective solutions.
- Participate in client meetings to communicate design concepts and project updates.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience preferred in architectural technology or interior design technology.
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or Interior Design Technology.
- Estimating experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- Strong professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
