We are looking for 2 additional style queens to join our team! 1 full time, and 1 part time roles to fill. This role is a fun and challenging retail position working in our busy consignment store. The Sales Associates role at The Clothing Bar is to assist, support and provide the best customer service to our customers. We are here to give our team, consignors and customers a relaxed and supportive work environment where everyone belongs and can have an inclusive and fun shopping experience. It is our job to evoke a sense of welcoming and create a community closet where everyone feels at home.
Must be available to work on weekends(Saturday + Sunday) and weekdays. Previous consignment experience is a plus.
Job Duties/Requirements:
- · Say hi and welcome each customer to our little home
- · Be available to staff members, and customers when they need help, or have questions
- · Ring through customer purchases at the till (either upstairs or in the basement) and check for consignor credit and/or rewards program credit
- · Start customers change rooms right away to free their hands
- · Put clothing away, clear change rooms, organize the racks
- · Accept consignors drop offs in a timely fashion, and care for their clothes like you would your own
- · Check consignor accounts on request, and add consignor credit to the payouts list if required
- · Answer the phones, and respond to Instagram messages quickly and eagerly
- · Put away any new arrival items
- · Maintain cleanliness of the racks to make it easy to shop through
- · Maintain a positive work environment for all
- · Keep the store in a clean and tidy manner
- Additional tasks/support on request
