Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Process payments through cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the front of house area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain effective time management to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in fast-paced settings
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Basic math skills for bill calculation and cash handling
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, food preparation, and guest services
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a busy restaurant environment
