Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook Grill to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The Line Cook Grill plays a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and presentation specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding work areas
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Adhere to sanitation standards and maintain a safe working environment
- Support other kitchen stations as needed during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate grilling equipment efficiently and safely
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation and food presentation techniques
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles is a plus
