Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced epoxy flooring installer to join our growing team. You will prepare concrete surfaces, repair cracks and imperfections, apply professional coating systems and ensure a consistent, high-quality finish.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare concrete surfaces using grinders, vacuums and other surface-preparation equipment
- Inspect floors and complete crack repairs, patching and levelling as required
- Measure, mix and apply epoxy, polyaspartic and related coating products
- Apply primers, base coats, decorative flakes and topcoats according to specifications
- Follow product mixing ratios, application windows and manufacturer instructions
- Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain an organized job site
- Operate hand tools and flooring equipment safely and correctly
- Identify and report moisture, adhesion or substrate concerns
- Work efficiently with the team to complete projects on schedule
- Perform final inspections and correct deficiencies when necessary
- Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous professional epoxy or concrete-coating installation experience
- Strong knowledge of concrete preparation, grinding and crack repair
- Experience applying epoxy, polyaspartic and decorative flake systems
- Ability to measure and mix two-component products accurately
- Comfortable operating grinders, vacuums and common construction tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending and kneeling
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Experience in concrete finishing, painting, tile installation, caulking, carpentry or general handyman work is considered an asset.
