Skilled Labourer

- We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Labourer to join our team in Fernie, BC. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
The right candidate will be dependable, physically capable, and ready to support a range of construction tasks on site. Construction experience is an asset, but attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are just as important.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general labour and construction tasks on site
- Handle and move materials safely and efficiently
- Support skilled trades and site supervisors as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow instructions carefully while also working independently when required
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and others on site
Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical dexterity and ability to lift materials, including up to 30 lbs overhead
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle to commute to work
- Currently living in Fernie or the surrounding area
- Valid work permit for Canada
- Construction experience is an asset
